Create Human Body PH Balance

Foods and drinks have different levels of acidity, and balancing your acid levels can be an important aspect of bodily health. For example, excess acidity in your body can prevent bones from rebuilding and strengthening. Determining the pH level of your body is the first step toward maintaining proper acidity.

How to Create the Human Body's Normal PH Balance
Create the human body's normal pH balance by establishing healthy eating practices that encourage the body's regulation of pH. PH, a measurement of the acid/alkaline levels in our bodies, is tested by physicians to determine abnormalities leading to disease. The body's pH levels are expressed in the urine. According to MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia (a service of the National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health), urine that exhibits pH imbalances may be a sign of problems such as urinary tract infections and kidney stones

Instructions
1. Eat plenty of fruits and leafy green vegetables, as well as low carbohydrate foods, such as barley, which are also high in fiber. Eating plenty of fiber and drinking plenty of water are important. Mineral water is recommended by PRLog.org, since it promotes a healthy pH. Taking dietary measures to prevent pH imbalance can also prevent bacteria and viruses from growing in the system

2. Eat a healthy balance of food that raises pH levels and food that lowers them. In general, aim for a diet of 75 percent alkaline food and 25 percent acidic. Food that raises pH levels, or is alkaline, include citrus fruits and vegetables. Food that lowers pH levels, or is acidic, include meat and meat products, according to Medline Plus . According to The Wolfe Clinic, green tea and herbal tea are alkaline and can help lower acid levels. Vegetables that do the same include broccoli and asparagus. Pasta and white bread are generally acidifying, along with dairy products including milk and cottage cheese. Be sure to include healthy servings of protein as part of a balanced diet.

3. Design meals incorporating food and spices that neutralize one another. Be sure to drink plenty of water at meals. For example, try drinking cranberry juice, which is acidifying, along with a dish that includes almonds, which are alkaline and, thus, lower acid levels. Grains like oats are generally acidifying, as are oils derived from seeds like sunflower oil. Try incorporating flavorful items such as garlic, cinnamon, ginger, sea salt or any kind of herb to lower acid levels.

4. Visit a physician if any problems are present with urination, such as pain, change in frequency or a constant feeling of having to urinate. While eating a healthy, balanced diet designed to create a normal pH balance has health rewards, the body may still be vulnerable to problems for other reasons. Doctors may test the acidity of the urine to determine the appropriate treatment. Changes in diet may be necessary when an imbalance is present. Consult a doctor if urinary problems persist despite changes in diet to create a healthy pH balance.

How to Test Body PH??

1)Do not eat, drink or brush your teeth for 30 minutes to two hours prior to testing.

2)Swallow several times to ensure clean saliva. Spit some of your saliva into a spoon.

3)Immerse the ph strip in the saliva. Then compare to the color chart that came with the pH strips.

You can test with saliva or urine.
***Do not place the pH strip on your tongue to determine your pH levels.
